Birthday: February 9, 1991 (Beaumont, TX)
Hometown: Creston, Ohio
School: 11th grade (Fall 2007-Spring 2008)
Began gym: Around 6 years old
Gym, age 6-14
: Flytz under coach Terry Gray
Current gym: Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy

Current Level: Senior International Elite
Goals: National, World, and Olympic team

Bianca Flohr began gymnastics after her ballet instructor asked her to attend a gymnastics class with her brother who was too shy to participate by himself. Although Bianca was too young to officially enroll, she impressed the teacher with her strength and enthusiasm and was soon asked to join the class. Bianca continued to play around in different recreational programs in Texas and Virginia before moving to Ohio at age six where she found Flytz Gymnastics with coach Terry Gray.

Bianca achieved TOP (Talent Opportunity Program) National Team status every year she tested and finally began competitive gymnastics at age 9 as a Level 9. She qualified to Level 9 Nationals her first year of competition and won the bar titles at the state, regional, and national level. Bianca spent two years as a Level 10, qualifying to Nationals both years and winning the national bar title once again in 2002. Bianca qualified for International Elite status in 2003 as a twelve-year-old and made the Junior International Team that same season - quite an honor for a first timer at the US National Championships!

Bianca continued to gain experience as a Junior International Elite in both 2004 and 2005. She was the runner-up at the 2005 US National Championships and won the junior national title on her favorite event, bars. She also did very well on the international scene, representing the US in competitions all across the country, Mexico, El Salvador, Brazil, Switzerland, and Japan.

Sadly, by November 2005, Flytz Gymnastics no longer had the finances to support the Elite program, and Bianca has to part ways with her longtime coach, Terry Gray. She relocated to Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy with coach Mary Lee Tracy. Though this was not an easy move for Bianca, she was excited about the opportunity to train with several elite teammates in one of the nation's top programs.

2007 will be Bianca's first year as a Senior International Elite. Her goals remain high and she is determined to maintain her spot on the National Team. Her dreams are just as big, as she hopes to someday represent our country on a World and Olympic team. She also dreams of on day competing for a NCAA title.
