· August 8, 2006 - Bianca won the
bars title and placed 3rd in the all-around at last weekend's US
Classic! She also won bronze medals on vault and beam. Pictures
and videos have been added. Bianca's next
competition will be the US National Championships in St. Paul,
Minnesota. This will be her final Nationals as a junior!
· July 13, 2006 - Bianca's
picture gallery has been revamped with new photos from 2006
American Cup and Pacific Alliance Championships added, as well as
a few pictures from Bianca's personal albums!
· May 30, 2006 - Bianca's latest journal
entry has been posted!
· March 5, 2006 - Bianca
performed well during Friday's preliminary competition of the Tyson
American Cup. She has revamped many of her skills and routines
for the new Code of Points. On vault, she competed a Yurchenko 1
1/2 for a 14.800 and 4th place on the event. She was also
4th on bars with a new routine, which includes a new mount and a
Hindorff, for a 14.050. On beam she was 3rd with a 14.850. Her
only major mistake of the competition was a fall on floor earning
a 13.850. Her all-around total of 57.550 was good enough to put her
in medal contention (3rd place) but the
"two-per-country" rule prevented her from advancing to
Finals. Nevertheless, it was a great experience for Bianca
competing in her final season as a junior!
· February 25, 2006 - Following
her performance at this week's training camp, Bianca has been
chosen to represent the United States at the Tyson
American Cup! This is a senior-level international competition
featuring some of the world's top gymnasts from Brazil, Canada,
China, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Russia, and Ukraine.
Also representing the US will be Nastia Liukin, Jacquelyn Johnson,
and Shayla Worley. The competition, which is being held at the Liacouras Center
in Philadelphia, begins with preliminaries on Friday March 3rd.
Finals will be held the following day; NBC begins a live broadcast
of the meet at 1pm eastern time. GOOD LUCK,
BIANCA!
· February 22, 2006 - New personal
photos have been added to Bianca's photo gallery! She is in
Texas this week for one of the monthly National Team training
camps. At stake are three spots on the American Cup team, a prestigious
international competition which will take place March 3-4 in
Philadelphia. Because of her age, Bianca will still be competing
at the junior level this year, so she hopes to simply hit all of
her routines.
· February 9, 2006 - Happy
15th Birthday, Bianca!
