I thought that it would be interesting to share some of my
restaurant photos. I know they are not glamour shots of me. However, they
reminded me of the way Emeril cooks food. I like watching his TV Food show.

One of the stops on our trip was to Brno, Czech
Republic. We went to a Broadway type Musical Dinner Theater. This was the
dinner part of the show. Our first coarse was a salad plate.
The main coarse was chicken and rice. So far so good.
However, there were these white worm like things on top. I used my fork
and tried to bite a piece off, but I could not bite it. It was one of
those embarrassing moments. (Even if the Czech girls couldn't understand
my English, they understood my dilemma.) So, then I tried to use my
fingers and teeth to tear it. I still couldn't break a piece off. The
chicken was great. But, I don't recommend the worms.
The musical was fun. Most of the songs were sung in
Czech. But they sang, "Hello Dolly", in English. It was slow and
with a heavy accent. Definitely a must see show if you are in Brno. |

These are pictures from a restaurant in Decin. It is
supposed to be svickova pecene na smetane. Now, I love the svickova dish
that Radek, (my coach) makes back at home. It is my favorite meal.
However, this did not taste like it. Draha came over and assured me that
it really was svickova. But it didn't taste like it. |

This picture puzzles me. I am not sure how fries ended up
on my plate. I am sure as a very dedicated gymnast, that I wouldn't eat
such food. |

Last time I went to Europe I lost weight. I think it was
just that I was dehydrated. I missed my tap water from home. However, my
parents were concerned, and made me promise to eat and drink.
I think I can honestly say I kept my promise. Especially,
with Martina's Babicka coming over |

everyday. This time when I came home I weighed * just the
same and felt much better.
* I went to the Dr. the day before I left. I had a bad
sinus & ear infection. |

This is a picture of a statue from the restaurant we ate
at on our last day at Krumlov. I call it an "Ishyboba". Europe
is a mixture of a lot of belief systems. I am glad I have a personal
relationship with my Lord and Savior.
