Welcome to the official website of Ivana Hong! At fourteen-years-old, Ivana has been an elite gymnast for five years, and this year is her first on the Senior International Elite level. She trains at Great American Gymnastics Express in Blue Springs, Missouri under coaches Al and Armine Fong. Already in 2007 Ivana has represented the United States in several international competitions, including the 2007 Pan American Games, where the US won the team gold and Ivana won the bronze in the all-around. Ivana, who says her role models are her Grandma and 2004 Olympic Team Member Courtney McCool, one day hopes to win gold medals for the US on a World and Olympic team. Al Fong recently said, "We've had a timeline for Ivana, some mile markers we set back in 2004, and she's in a perfect position. She's one of the young women that everyone in the country is talking about."
We hope you enjoy Ivana's
official website, and please be sure to sign the guestbook
before you leave!

September 5, 2007
The American women are the 2007 World Gymnastics
Champions!!! Ivana and teammates Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Sam Peszek, Alicia
Sacramone, and Shayla Worley finished almost a full point ahead of China
(silver) and over five points ahead of Romania (bronze). This is only the second
time in history that the American women have won the World title, and it is
especially significant because it's the first time they've won on foreign soil.
Several articles
and pictures from today have been posted.
Congratulations, Ivana & Team USA!
