Welcome to the official
website of Katie Heenan, a former US International Elite Gymnast
and current member of the University of Georgia gymnastics team!
Katie is a National and World uneven bars medallist and now a
rising sophomore at UGA. While competing
for Capital Gymnastics in Burke, Virginia, she made the US
National Team seven years in a row and won several titles on both
the national and international level. Katie has overcome
many injuries and setbacks to become one of the best gymnasts in
the country and is now continuing that success on the NCAA
level. During her freshman year, Katie earned Georgia's highest
scores of the season on vault (9.95), beam (9.95), floor (9.95),
and in the all-around (39.725). She was First-Team All-American on
vault, bars, and all-around. She and her teammates, led by coach
Suzanne Yoculan, finished the season as NCAA National Champions!
Katie was presented with the MVP Award at the team's season-ending
banquet. We thank you for visiting her website and
please sign the guestbook
before you leave!
